Elections in Himachal are to be held on November 9 whereas counting will take place on December 18. Himachal Pradesh’s Kutlehar seat also comes in the same count, where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ruling the last five assembly elections and about two and a half decades.
Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee chief Sachin Pilot today accused the BJP of using resources and money in large numbers in Himachal Pradesh assembly elections. He said that the BJP is afraid of defeat. He said that the magic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended. At the same time, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has also campaigned in the state. An HPCC spokesperson said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi will not campaign in the state but Rahul Gandhi will address rallies on November 6 in Ponta Sahib, Nagrota, and Chamba.
